Arrival Expectations
Staging is an important aspect of how potential end-users will view and enjoy the content we create. Potential buyers, renters, or interested parties are far more likely to view a staged property or set through a positive lens, especially if the property or set is staged in a professional, clean manner. PryzmatIQ employees may ask for permission to move, re-arrange, or otherwise shift the placement or location of certain items or furniture in order to create a more uniform, "staged" look for content-creation excellence. Employees with permission will take the upmost care when interacting with these items, and will return them to how they were originally placed to the best of their ability if directed to by a property owner or manager. We do recommend that customers "stage" the property to the best of their ability, in order to minimize any employee interaction with items not owned or operated by PryzmatIQ or its employees.
PryzmatIQ employees will arrive onsite in a vehicle such as a car, including their equipment. For this purpose, customers are required to provide a space for parking near the property, or assurance that a spot will be available during the hours of operation.
Remote pilots require a safe and clear area to facilitate both the launching and retrieval of remote aircraft. This area may be one area or multiple areas depending on safety conditions, the size and location of the work area, and the scope of work required. Such areas will be scouted out ahead of time, either at the operator's arrival, or the initial inspection, if one does take place before the day of the work.
Rescheduling
Due to our reliance on adequate lighting for quality photos and video content, as well as the effects of weather on remote aircraft, onsite work may have to be postponed, cancelled, or otherwise rescheduled due to inclement, unfavorable, or unsafe weather conditions including but not limited to: extreme heat, extreme cold, heavy or gusty winds, rain, hail, lightning, and dust storms.
Adequate notice will be given when such weather becomes apparent; however, due to the nature of inclement weather, conditions may become unsafe on the day of work, or while work has already started and operators are onsite. In these situations, a revisit will be scheduled in the near future, and the remaining paid time for the agreed-upon work will be carried over to the next visit, excepting a one-hour minimum. We apologize in advance for any potential financial or scheduling conflicts weather may cause, but in most cases, such rescheduling is necessary and commonplace in photography, filmography, and remote aircraft operation.
Personal Safety and Accidents:
The client understands that the operation of a remote-controlled aircraft is potentially dangerous and can result in personal injury, destruction or damage of property, and even death. Even licensed, experienced pilots can experience accidents when conditions become unstable, or any equipment malfunctions outside of remote pilot or operator control.
Work will be completed at or exceeding legal and approved FAA and OSHA guidelines. All pilots are guaranteed to be licensed, experienced, alert and sober, undistracted, and safety-conscious. The safety of our customers and their property is of the upmost importance, and proper risk-management and planning will mitigate reasonable risk.
All accidents will be reported to the proper authorities within the timelines established within FAA and OSHA guidelines. Customers will be made aware immediately, and work will be terminated at the time of the accident. A follow-up report will be issued to the customer and any interested parties upon completion.
Equipment Safety and Handling
Customers are advised not to interact or interfere with equipment used onsite, including equipment not currently in use or stored onsite or nearby. We also discourage customers from having bystanders, including friends and family, remaining on the property during the time where equipment is onsite, both for safety and security reasons.
Equipment may be stored on-site during the operation, in safe areas coordinated by the customer and any PryzmatIQ employees. Equipment may also be stored outside on the property if necessary. This equipment must remain where it is unless it is either actively in use, in transport, or set up for immediate use. Due to the nature of 360 photography, customers and employees must vacate the areas captured in 360 photos and videos, and drone photos and videos
Liability and Responsibility
We are not liable for damages to property as a result of client or bystander negligence and potentially unsafe or unsafe behavior. Intentionally or otherwise, and unless given written consent from a PryzmatIQ employee, any customer or bystander interference with equipment in ways such as but not limited to: moving, operating, pushing, grabbing, touching, obstructing, mishandling, destroying, damaging, wetting, heating, hitting, shooting, or igniting, violates safety guidelines and will force the customer to assume financial and legal responsibility for any damages incurred to any property or equipment involved. Work may be terminated at the discretion of the operator onsite or another PryzmatIQ employee, and the payment for the paid work hours already completed will be immediately due. We reserve the right to litigate property owners, customers, and bystanders who damage or destroy equipment or property, or cause injury or death to PryzmatIQ employees, customers, or bystanders. This right to litigate also applies to the actions of customers or bystanders who cause unsafe conditions resulting in the damage or destruction of equipment and property, or injury or death of PryzmatIQ employees, customers, or bystanders. We also reserve the right to litigate those who use our equipment to damage or destroy property, or injure or cause the death of PryzmatIQ employees, customers, and bystanders.
By using our service, the customer is aware that the location of their property and the time or date of the shoot may be made apparent to others who view the content by factors such as but not limited to: man-made or natural landmarks, air traffic patterns, weather, traffic, overhead views of the city streets, reflections, bystanders, first responders, vehicles, foliage, audio, astronomical phenomenon, and signage. PryzmatIQ is not liable for any illegal or immoral behavior that occurs as a result of unrelated or third-party interference by organizations or people outside of the agreed-upon customer-business relationship, including but not limited to: physical damage or destruction of property, injury, death, stalking, intimidation or confrontation, in-person or online advertising, theft or burglary, or any other abuse. We do our best to remove identifying information, as we take the safety of both our customers and employees very seriously.
